Educação Artística e Interculturalidade: O papel da Educação Musical no Desenvolvimento das Relações Interculturais em Contexto Escolar

Abstract

A educação para a interculturalidade é um dos componentes mais importantes no processo de socialização de qualquer indivíduo, tendo sempre em vista a sua total integração. Por esse motivo, todas as crianças devem ter acesso à Educação. A educação em arte favorece o desenvolvimento do pensamento artístico, que carateriza um modo particular de dar sentido às experiências das pessoas. Através do desenvolvimento, o aluno aumenta a sensibilidade, a perceção, a reflexão e a imaginação. Aprender sobre arte, envolve basicamente, fazer trabalhos artísticos, apreciar e refletir sobre eles. O presente trabalho pretende explorar as estratégias da educação artística e da interculturalidade para o desenvolvimento das capacidades relacionamento em contexto escolar, de modo a ajudar e melhorar a forma de aprendizagem, proporcionando um ensino mais agradável e abrangente, que se torne, de certa forma, mais interessante para o educando. Assim sendo realizamos este estudo na nossa própria Instituição “Casa Madalena de Canossa” do distrito do Porto, escola inserida num contexto económico e sociocultural difícil. Aqui foram recolhidos dados que permitiram identificar quais as estratégias de ação seguidas pela escola no âmbito das atividades musicais, e saber se as mesmas influenciam as relações entre crianças com diversas nacionalidades e culturas. Conhecendo a arte de outras culturas, o aluno poderá compreender a relatividade dos valores que estão enraizados nos seus modos de pensar e agir; pode desenvolver relações interculturais de sentido para a valorização e favorecer a riqueza e as diversidades humanas. Assim, o aluno torna-se capaz de perceber a sua realidade quotidiana tomando consciência daquilo que é, podendo criar condições para uma qualidade de vida melhor.

The artistic and interculturality education is one of the most important components in the process of socialization of any individual, always with a view to their total integration. For this reason, all children must have access to Education. Education in art favors the development of artistic thinking, which characterizes a particular way of giving meaning to the experiences of people: through it, the student increases sensitivity, perception, reflection and imagination. Learning art involves basically doing artwork, appreciating and reflecting on them. It also involves the forms of nature and the individual and collective artistic productions of different cultures and eras. The present work intends to explore the strategies of the Artistic and Interculturality Education for the Development of the Capacities Relationship in School Context, in order to help and to improve the form of learning, providing a more pleasant and comprehensive teaching, that becomes, to a certain extent, more interesting for the learner. Therefore, this study was carried out in our own institution "Casa Madalena de Canossa" in the Porto district, a school inserted in a difficult economic and socio-cultural context. Here we collected data that allowed us to identify the strategies and lines of action that the school pursued in the context of musical activities, and to know if they influence the relations between children with different nationalities and cultures. Knowing the art of other cultures, the student will be able to understand the relativity of the values that are rooted in his ways of thinking and acting; can develop intercultural relations of meaning for valorization and favor human wealth and diversity. Thus, it becomes able to perceive its daily reality more vividly, recognizing and being able to create conditions for a better quality of life.
