Contextos promotores de iniciativa na educação de infância

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio enquadra-se no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e tem como objetivo demonstrar uma investigação e intervenção decorridos ao longo dos estágios em contexto de Creche e em contexto de Educação Pré-Escolar. O tema principal deste relatório incide em perceber como o educador promove a iniciativa, tendo como objetivos perceber a importância da iniciativa, perceber as estratégias que fomentem a iniciativa, perceber o papel do educador de infância na promoção da iniciativa e perceber se as crianças podem exercer iniciativa. É fundamental perceber através da educadora, do ambiente vivido na sala e da opinião das crianças as condições e os instrumentos utilizados para o reforço de um ambiente participativo. Realizou-se inicialmente uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o tema e posteriormente foram realizadas as entrevistas a cinco educadoras e a dezasseis crianças além da realização de registos de observação no contexto. Esta investigação permitiu demonstrar o que acontece na prática em relação à iniciativa da criança tentando perceber de que forma é que esta decorre no quotidiano da criança.

This training report is part of the Masters in Pre-School Education and aims to show the research and other work done throughout the workplace training period in Kindergarten and Pre-School contexts. The main theme of this report is to understand how the educator promotes initiative in terms of its importance, the strategies used to encourage it, to understand the role of the kindergarten teacher in promoting initiative, and to understand whether or not children can practice it. It is vital to understand through the educator, the classroom environment and the opinion of children which conditions and instruments are used to build up a more engaging work environment. First, a bibliographical research on the theme was carried out, followed by interviews to five educators and sixteen children and in-context monitoring records. This research has allowed us to show and understand how the children’s initiative works in practice in their daily activities.
