Edutainment: facilitação da aprendizagem?

Abstract

O intuito desta comunicação é analisar a integração das novas tecnologias na educação, em particular, no que diz respeito à formação informal – aquela que é feita em visitas de estudo, em casa ou nos tempos livres em visitas a centros ciência e a museus. Sempre com o mesmo foco: a relevância do edutainment como complemento educativo. Apresentam-se e analisam-se alguns casos práticos de edutainment, onde a tecnologia é o veículo para educar, consciencializar e prevenir. Procura-se encontrar a resposta para a pergunta que dá título à comunicação: Edutainment: facilitação da aprendizagem?

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the integration of the new education technologies, with special attention to informal education, the one that we can get from school trips, at home or during free time activities that may include visits to science centers and museums. All these experiences are analyzed considering the same point: edutainment and its relevance as education complement. Some edutainment practical cases are presented and analyzed. These cases integrate technology as a means of educating, raising awareness and being preventive at the same time. We try to seek an answer for the question that gives the paper its title: Edutainment: a learning facilitator?
