Web 2.0 como factor de motivação na aprendizagem: estudo de caso

Abstract

Este trabalho foi realizado no âmbito da Pós-Graduação TIC em Contextos de Aprendizagem, mais propriamente, respondendo a um desafio lançado na unidade curricular de Seminário de Projecto. O trabalho centra-se na temática “Web 2.0 como factor de Motivação na Aprendizagem” e é constituído por duas partes: pertinência teórica e metodologia de intervenção. Na primeira parte, são apresentadas as nossas ideias sobre as implicações educativas que a WEB 2.0 veio despoletar, no âmbito da pedagogia ou teoria educacional. Para tal, foi feita uma revisão bibliográfica sobre o tema. Na segunda parte, essencialmente prática, estudamos um caso e tentamos melhorar a prática educativa com o auxílio de ferramentas WEB 2.0. Um dos investigadores deste projecto utilizou uma prática pedagógica, numa turma do Ensino Básico, recorrendo às Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação, mais precisamente a ferramentas WEB 2.0 (gratuitas), tendo conseguido motivar os alunos e melhorado o empenho, interesse e participação dos mesmos. This work was made in the postgraduate studies: ICT in learning contexts, rather answering to a challenge proposed in the subject Project Seminar. The work focuses on the topic “Web 2.0 as a motivational factor in the learning process” and it´s constituted by two parts: theoretical relevance and interventional methodology. In the first part, essentially theoretical, are presented ideas about the educational implications that Web 2.0 has brought to the pedagogy or the educational theory. According to that, a literature review has been made about that topic. In the second one, basically practical, we studied a case and tried to improve the educational practice, helped by WEB 2.0. One of the researchers involved in this project implemented an educational practice based on Information and Communication Technology, using free web 2.0 tools in an unmotivated class, and he managed to motivate the students, improving its performance, interest and participation.
