As artes visuais como prática pedagógica diferenciadora

Abstract

O relatório de investigação cujo tema se denomina por “As Artes Visuais como prática pedagógica diferenciadora”, apresenta como objetivo principal perceber como as Artes Visuais são importantes na promoção das aprendizagens das crianças. Sendo a criança um ser de descobertas e capaz de comunicar de variadas formas sobre tudo o que a rodeia, é apresentado um tema focado neste subdomínio que parte do domínio da Educação Artística e que aprofunda a imaginação de uma forma livre e a oportunidade de a criança se exprimir através da arte, capaz de estimular até a sua confiança ou autoestima. O estudo decorre através da investigação qualitativa com os dados recolhidos da observação participante do grupo e das entrevistas de educadoras de infância decorrendo ao longo do ano em contexto de Educação Pré-Escolar e, no ano letivo seguinte, são também recolhidos os dados das entrevistas de impacto das mesmas crianças do grupo como técnicas de recolha de dados. Em síntese, os dados concluem que são tomadas estratégias diversificadas utilizadas pelo/a educador/a de infância que potencializam as Artes Visuais como principal recurso educativo e que levam a desenvolver competências quando utilizadas, tais como o interesse, a motivação ou a criatividade da criança, percebendo, assim, que as Artes Visuais são fulcrais como facilitadora e ferramenta de aprendizagens

The investigation report whose theme is “Visual Arts as a differencing pedagogic practice”, presents as main objective to understand how Visual Arts are important in promoting children’s learning. Being the child as a being of discoveries and able to communicate in various ways about everything that surrounds it, a topic focused in this subdomain that takes part of the Artistic Education domain and deepens the imagination in a free form and the opportunity of a children to express herself through art, capable of stimulating even its self-esteem or confidence , is presented. The study runs through the qualitative investigation with the data gathered in the participant observation and in the childhood educators’ interviews throughout the year in the Pre-Scholar context and, in the next school year, data from impact interviews from the same children were also gathered. In summary, the data concluded that diversified strategies used by the childhood educator that potentialize Visual Arts as a major educative resource are taken and lead to developing competences when used, such as interest, motivation or child´s creativity, allowing to understand, in this way, that Visual Arts are essential as facilitators and learning tools.
