Os impactos e as perceções da presença da música no contexto pré-escolar: um estudo pré-escolar

Abstract

O presente relatório consiste na apresentação de uma investigação com a duração de 18 meses realizada no contexto da Educação Pré-Escolar. Na parte teórica desta investigação são discutidos temas considerados fundamentais para a mesma, como a música na Educação Pré-Escolar e a formação do profissional docente. Pretendeu-se investigar os impactos e as perceções dos profissionais de educação de infância sobre a presença de um profissional de música no Jardim de Infância. Realizou-se um estudo de caso em que os intervenientes desta investigação foram os grupos de crianças da instituição, as suas respetivas educadoras e a professora especializada em música (que lecionava as aulas de expressão musical aos grupos em questão). Através de um processo de observação participante e não participante observou-se o quotidiano de uma instituição assim como foram realizadas entrevistas às educadoras e à professora de música.

This report presents an investigation with the duration of 18 – months duration held in the context of the preschool education. In the theoretical framework of this research fundamental themes such as music preschool education and professional teacher training, are discussed. It was intended to investigate the impacts and perceptions of childhood education professionals about the presence of a music professional in kindergarten. A case study was carried out in which the research participants were the groups of children of the institution, their educators and the music teacher (which taught the classes of musical expression to the groups in question). Through a participant and non-participant observation process, we observed the daily life of an institution, as well as interviews with the educators and the music teacher. Observational tables were used as observational instruments of the music lessons and interviews were conducted with the educators and the music teacher.
