EcoArte: a utilização das artes visuais para a sustentabilidade do planeta

Abstract

No decorrer desta investigação, iremos abordar de forma abrangente o subdomínio das Artes visuais como forma de desenvolvimento da identidade cultural dos indivíduos e sustentabilidade do planeta, com o apoio de diversos artistas contemporâneos para fomentar conhecimentos e competências transversais,nomeadamente a criatividade, a curiosidade, a cooperação, a relação entre pares, entre outros, e, bem como, as especificidades das artes em contexto, a expressão e comunicação e a apropriação elementar da linguagem artística. Desta forma, o grupo em estudo será constituído por 15 crianças na faixa etária dos 3 e 4 anos, inserida numa instituição na cidade de Matosinhos, distrito do Porto. O objetivo fundamental deste trabalho de investigação é saber se as crianças conseguem refletir sobre os problemas da sustentabilidade, da identidade cultural da cidade onde estão inseridos e do seu papel como cidadãos. Para além da reflexão, irá ser proposto às crianças que construam de forma criativa uma cidade sustentável, através das Artes Visuais. Esta investigação de estudo caso terá como técnicas de recolha de dados grelhas de observação sobre as atividades efetuadas com as crianças, estas estarão relacionadas com os grandes temas da sustentabilidade do planeta, a identidade cultural e de si mesmo como cidadão. Haverá também entrevistas a 10 educadoras, de forma averiguar quais os conceitos que têm relativamente a este tema da sustentabilidade

In the course of this research, we will comprehensively address the subdomain of Visual Arts as a way of developing the cultural identity of individuals and the sustainability of the planet, with the support of several contemporary artists to foster transversal knowledge and skills such as creativity, curiosity, cooperation, the relationship between peers, among others, as well as the specificities of the arts in context, expression and communication, and the basic appropriation of artistic language. Thus, the study group will be composed of 15 children aged 3 and 4 years old, enrolled in an institution in the city of Matosinhos, Porto district. The main objective of this research is to know if children can reflect on the problems of sustainability, the cultural identity of the city where they are inserted and their role as citizens. In addition to reflection, children will be proposed to creatively build a sustainable city through the Visual Arts. This study case study will have as data collection techniques observation grids on the activities carried out with children. These will be related to the theme of the planet's sustainability, cultural identity and of oneself, as a citizen. There will also be interviews with 10 educators, in order to find out what concepts they have regarding this theme of sustainability
