Um profissional em construção

Abstract

O presente trabalho constitui um relatório decorrente da Unidade Curricular Estágio II em 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, incidindo também sobre a prática profissional vivenciada no semestre transato em Educação Pré-Escolar, para obtenção do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino do 1ºciclo do Ensino Básico. Este espelha a nossa intervenção ao longo de oito meses, quatro num jardim-de-infância e quatro num colégio, respetivamente. A fundamentação teórica é baseada nas perspetivas de diversos autores para a Educação de infância e 1.º Ciclo, aludindo também à intencionalidade educativa, que caracteriza a ação do profissional em educação e todos os seus componentes. Faz referência a instrumentos e a técnicas a usar para avaliar as crianças e potenciar o seu desenvolvimento, focando em especial que as crianças aprendem mais facilmente com a ação, com métodos ativos e através de experiências significativas. Em súmula, pretende-se dar uma visão do trabalho empírico efetuado, baseado num espírito investigativo, da avaliação do formando, demonstrando as competências adquiridas e necessárias à prática, sem esquecer as dificuldades sentidas.

The following work embodies a report that arises from the discipline "Internship II in 1st Cycle Basic School" focusing also on the professional practice experienced during one semester in Pre-School Education, for the conclusion of the Master Degree in Pre-School Education and 1st Cycle Basic School Teaching. This shows our intervention during a period of eight months, four of witch spent in a kindergarten and the other four spent in a private school. The logic basis is sustained in the perspectives of various authors on childhood and 1st cycle Education, also approaching the educational purpose, that characterizes the action of the professional in education and all its components. This work also makes reference to different instruments and techniques to evaluate children and harness their development, especially focusing on the fact that children learn more quickly through means of action, with active methods and through meaningful experiences. In conclusion, it is intended to provide a broader vision of the developed empirical work, based on an investigative spirit of the learner evaluation, demonstrating the acquired competences required for practice, without forgetting, however, the difficulties that arose during the process.
