Biblioterapia na educação pré-escolar: a gestão do medo e da agressividade

Abstract

As emoções, de forma constante, fazem parte integral do nosso entendimento do mundo e dos outros. Assim sendo, no âmbito da Educação tem-lhes sido conferida crescente relevância na formação integral da pessoa. A biblioterapia apresenta-se-nos como uma terapia das emoções, tendo o livro como ponto de partida. Na leitura, dramatização e diálogo de obras de literatura infantil de cariz narrativo ficcional, o biblioterapeuta cria um espaço de comunicação onde o leitor se reencontra nas emoções emergentes, e as suas múltiplas interpretações são trazidas para o seu lado consciente, de forma a promover mudanças conceptuais e comportamentais. No caso da biblioterapia de desenvolvimento, promovida por bibliotecários e professores, é crucial impulsionar a catarse das emoções, num acto contínuo de partilha e diálogo, de forma a que, partindo do texto, a criança sinta que é legítimo e seguro sentir e expressar emoções e pensamentos trazidos do individual para o colectivo do grupo. A biblioterapia pretende contribuir, de uma forma efectiva, para o desenvolvimento da inteligência emocional dos leitores. Neste trabalho apresentamos os resultados de um projecto de investigação-acção no âmbito da biblioterapia de desenvolvimento, direccionada para a educação pré-escolar, mais especificamente na gestão do medo e da agressividade. Este projecto de investigação-acção pretende promover a biblioterapia na educação pré-escolar, fomentando a dimensão edificante das emoções, nomeadamente na gestão de duas emoções em particular: medo e agressividade.

The emotions, steadily, form an integral part of our understanding of the world and the other. Thus, in the field of Education has been given to emotions increasing relevance in integral formation of the person. Bibliotherapy presents itself to us as a therapy of the emotions having the book as a starting point. In reading, drama and dialog of the works of children's literature of fictional narrative nature, the bibliotherapist creates a space of communication where the reader finds in the emotions emerging, and their multiple interpretations are brought to its side aware, in order to promote conceptual and behavioral changes. In the case of bibliotherapy for development, promoted by librarians and teachers, it is crucial to boost the catharsis of emotions, in a continual act of sharing and dialog, in such a way that, starting from the text, the child may feel that it is legitimate and secure feel and express emotions and thoughts brought the individual to the collective of the group. Bibliotherapy intends to contribute effectively to the development of emotional intelligence of readers. In this work we present the results of a research project-action in the context of bibliotherapy for development, targeted for pre-school education, more specifically in the management of fear and aggressiveness. This project of research-action seeks to promote the bibliotherapy in pre-school education, fostering the edifying dimension of emotions, particularly in management of two emotions: fear and aggressiveness.
